Zogby Spins Poll Results To Marginalize Ron Paul

In their press release about the results of a new telephone poll, Zogby PRISONPLANETchose to marginalize Ron Paul by highlighting a demographic that was won was by Rudy Giuliani, while largely ignoring the fact that the Texas Congressman completely dominated almost every other aspect of the poll.
Zogby's focus on Giuliani's success in one demographic is completely misleading and obfuscates the fact that Ron Paul won 90% of the categories in the survey. The fact that the headline of the press release trumpeted Giuliani, who distantly lags behind the Congressman in nearly all the key demographics, is a clear case of total spin.

Ron Paul, M.D., a GOP Presidential Candidate Who Would Strip Government Bare

Dr. Paul's views on health care resonate with many physicians angered at declining Medicare reimbursements, and threats of more, and what they perceive as increasing meddling into their practices by government and insurers.
He blames most health care woes on government intervention, particularly the HMO Act of 1973 that required employers to offer their workers HMO coverage, and the tax code that allows business, but not individuals, to deduct the cost of health insurance premiums.

Ron Paul: Letter To the Editor

Dr. Paul is a modest man with a sparkling record and unimpeachable nropersonal integrity. I understand why you need to attack him by linking him to less-than-savory individuals (there is simply nothing else to use), but it is just not going to work. Some of your charges are silly. Dr. Paul’s “Texas Straight Talk Column,” for example, is public record and anyone, from the American Free Press to Cat Fancy, has the right to reprint it.
Mona, I can not expect everyone to support Dr. Paul, especially those who have sunk so much of their own credibility into supporting the Iraq war. In fact, Dr. Paul welcomes open and spirited discussions, and even legitimate criticism. But, I had to get a few things off my chest.

Ron Paul and the Clueless Congress

Since the moneybomb especially, senior congressmen have been 2008chatting Ron up on the floor. Recently, he was asked for the first time to address the republican chiefs of staff who run congressional offices. They had the same questions as the congressmen. What firm did you hire to raise this money?
What strategist planned it for you? What mysterious technology did you use?
The premise: if only Ron would come clean, Congressman Schmuck could raise $4.3 million on November 5th, (and more than twice that on December 16th).
Our out-of-it rulers in DC fear the internet, and rightly so. They are also monumentally ignorant of it, and of the Ron Paul revolution that approaches them inexorably.

Why the Media Hates Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich

NBC is owned by General Electric, who also owns MSNBC and CNBC. GE also owns Bravo, Telemundo, USA Network, and the Sci-Fi Channel, among others. GE was awarded $2.2 billion in military contracts in 2005:
"General Electric is one of the world’s top three producers of jet engines, supplying Boeing, Lockheed Martin and other military aircraft makers for the powering of airplanes and helicopters."
CBS is owned by the former Westinghouse Broadcasting Company, a division of Westinghouse. WBC purchased all of CBS in 1996 and dropped it's name in favor of the less ominous title, CBS Company, which was in turn purchased by Viacom. Besides making the appliances and household electronics we know them for, Westinghouse used to own Northrup Grumman, who makes nuclear powered aircraft carriers, military airplanes, smart bombs and nuclear bombs, and is one of the largest military contractors in the United States. Despite the sale of Northrup, Westinghouse still makes nuclear reactors for U.S. submarines as well as electronics for the military and manufactures arms. Those same arms that are used to kill Iraqi's and Afghani's.

Party Like It's 1773

Throughout the campaign to date, the lamestream media and online opponents have tried to pass the Ron Paul Revolution off as the work of either nefarious Spambots or a few geeky “Paultards” who don’t really exist outside of some online poll. The time is ripe for us all to step out from behind our computers and emerge simultaneously in both local and national news media in a way that leaves no doubt that we’ve gone off the reservation to reclaim our birthright.

Ron Paul Should be the Zionist Choice for US President

It seems to me a Ron Paul presidency would be good for Israel and for arutzthe United States. Its foreign policy non-interventionism and its concern to protect national sovereignty would provide Israel with a greater impetus to increase its own independence and sense of national honor. I hope American Zionists will resist the immediate, meretricious attractions of American financial assistance for Israel. Ron Paul would both end this infantilizing, and even corrupting, aid and respect Israel's national sovereignty.

On abolishing the IRS, Dr. Paul stated in the first Republican debate on pacificanMay 3, "You can only do that if you change our idea of what the role of government ought to be. If you think that the government has to take care of us from cradle to grave, and if you think our government should police the world, and spend hundreds of billions of dollars on a foreign policy that we cannot manage, you can’t get rid of the IRS. Ron Paul Does NOT Want to Go Back to the Gold Standard

What Paul actually wishes to do, as he has said many times, is he simply wants to make gold and silver legal tender as called for in the Constitution, as well as to remove the sales tax on these metals. Mr. Beck’s actions only contribute to the division in this country. Calling this large group of peaceful Americans terrorists is an absolute disgrace, especially in a post-911 America when the Military Commissions Act allows the president, at his sole discretion, to name any American an “enemy combatant.” Your network and Glenn Beck may think it is funny to play fast and loose with this kind of language, but I take this very, very seriously.
